Top of the range site offices for Carillion police HQ project

Work on a new £63m headquarters for Greater Manchester Police is under way and Carillion has again hired secure modular AVflex site offices for the duration of the project from Wernick Hire. Senior staff at the site have stated that the AVflex is, “the finest temporary site accommodation we have ever worked in.”

The two-storey 14-bay modular building is finished in Carillion’s corporate colour scheme, but it is the spacious open-plan interior that has really impressed senior staff.  The ground floor is laid our as a 32’x 9’ board room, an induction room and a canteen with full catering facilities. The first floor has a reception area, meeting room, small kitchen and a large open plan main office extending across five bays. Except for the kitchen, all first floor areas are carpeted, and office furniture has been provided by Wernick Hire on a sale basis.

Wernick’s unique AVflex vandal-resistant modular building system offers high levels of security together with Category 2 lighting and two-compartment IT and telephone dado trunking in all office areas. The lighting system for this contract is PIR (passive infra-red) controlled.
