Grant Rail / Skanska specify AVflex™

As part of the improvements to transport links for the London 2012 Olympics a Grant Rail and Skanska Construction joint venture required a site accommodation office with welfare facilities to be sited within the Lee Valley Project.

A ten bay Wernick Hire anti-vandal AVflex modular system was specified and is sited in Leytonstone Road adjacent to Stratford station, which serves the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and London Underground.

The AVflex system comprises a large open plan office with two smaller offices, a kitchen and toilet on the first floor and toilets, drying room and large open plan storage area on the ground floor.

This is the fourth AVflex system to be supplied for DLR improvement work associated with the London Olympics.
